Show moreNCAR is developing an integrated system of instruments to help provide accurate information about momentum, heat, and water vapor fields for the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement Program. We have been evaluating the validity of the data collected by the Atmosphere-Surface Turbulent Exchange Research facility during the prototype experiment in terms of the integrity of the various instruments during the experiment. Average and variance values were examined from comparable sensors to determine any operational limitations. Results thus far are summarized in the table at the end of the paper. 1 Show less
