The contents detail the various projects, partnerships, and overall growth that NCAR fostered throughout the year. Descriptions of events and projects are categorized into six headings: Science in the Field, Community Service and Support, Science Serving Society, Partnering, Getting Back to Basics: A look at NCAR core science efforts, and Metrics, which contains quantitative statistics about NCAR's achievements in the past year. Points of interest within this document include the implementation of the Community Earth System Model (CESM) and ground-breaking in the construction of the Supercomputing Center in Wyoming.
