The SABL (Scanning Aerosol Backscatter Lidar), black window on pod side, mounted on the C-130 was taken during the Rain in Cumulus over the Ocean (RICO) field project. RICO studied clouds and warm rain on the tropical islands of Antigua and Barbuda from November through January 2005.
