The Flatirons and spring foliage are reflected in the windows of UCAR/NCAR's Center Green-1 building. The Flatirons are distinctive sandstone formations that form the backdrop for the city of Boulder, Colorado. The Center Green campus buildings were acquired by the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research in 2002 and house the main conference center, NCAR's High Altitude Observatory, as well as various finance and administration offices.
