This team from the High Altitude Observatory of the National Center for Atmospheric Research took part in an expedition to Curacao and Panama, gathering both ground-based and airborne observations of an eclipse on February 26, 1998. The ground team collected very high resolution coronal images that provided clues to the heating of the corona and the acceleration of the solar wind.
