Simulations on random fields indicate this approach is effective in eliminating incorrectly rejected null hypotheses. Applying FDR control on seasonal climate changes predicted by CRCM + CGCM3 suggests that future winter temperature increase extremely in the north (3-7° C), while summer temperature increase remarkably in the middle of North America (3-4° C).
